My Timber Pets How to Get Rare Animals

Unlimited rolls are free. Replacing your best chopper is not.

How to Get Rare Animals

Rare animals are the chase layer of My Timber Pets. The official pitch is “free unlimited rolls” and “insanely rare Animals.” Promotional art shows a mystery silhouette, a red button, a 1/67Qn label, then a red-and-white kitsune-style fox. Another thumbnail waves a giant red log at 1/6.7Qn. Those shots are the fantasy. This page is the keep-or-replace rule so you do not delete a dinosaur-style earner for a pretty common.

If you do not have a staffed tree yet, go back to Getting Started. Rolls do not chop.

How rolling works

The HUD includes a roll or luck control. Official art frames it as a pedestal with a blacked-out animal and a question mark, plus a big red stud you press. The game text says you can spin forever at no charge. That means:

  • There is no ticket sink on the basic roll (Robux luck passes can still exist in the shop; skip them until you understand rates).
  • The time sink is your attention. Every minute at the button is a minute you are not buying a forest upgrade.
  • The collection sink is decision quality. Unlimited commons will fill a list if you keep everything.

Roll in bursts of ten to twenty, then look at your worst assigned animal. If nothing in the burst beats it, go chop. If something does, swap and restaff immediately so the tree is never empty.

What official art actually shows

Use these as visual anchors, not as a complete index. The live roster will grow with patches; the animal index is the place we add names when they are confirmed in-game.

  • Chicken — starter, green cube tree, 1/s. Keep until beaten.
  • Dinosaur / T-rex style — late-game platform, mushroom trees, 45Q/s on the thumbnail. Treat this silhouette as an earner target.
  • Kitsune-style fox — red and white, the 1/67Qn reveal. Trophy and likely a strong pull; still compare the live tooltip to your current /s.
  • Blue snake — game icon with a TRAIT banner. Proof that some animals carry extra rules, not just a model swap.
  • Giant red log — 1/6.7Qn chase object. May be a trait item, a mutation, or a ultra-rare drop. Do not assume it is an animal until you see it in your inventory.

If a YouTuber shows a different roster, check the place ID. Timber! and Timber 2 are other games.

Odds and expectations

1/67Qn is marketing language for “almost never.” You will not hit that fox on a lunch break because the roll is free. Unlimited rolls plus ultra-rare odds is a slot machine that costs time. Plan for commons, celebrate anything with a new model, and only restructure the island when the tooltip rate is higher than your weakest slot.

Do not buy a luck pass to “finish the index” on day one. Finish how to play first. A luck pass on an unstaffed island is a donation.

Traits

The icon’s TRAIT stamp matters. When a pull lists a trait, read the full sentence. Typical idle-tycoon traits (verify in your tooltip, do not assume all exist) include chop speed, carry, luck, income multiplier, or a floor-wide aura. A cute animal with a weak trait can still beat a cool model with none.

If two animals have similar base rates, keep the one whose trait matches your bottleneck:

  • Slow chops → speed trait.
  • Piles maxing out → carry trait.
  • Empty new floor → any animal that can staff it, trait later.
  • You are hunting another rare → luck trait, but only during a session you are actually rolling.

The animal tier list ranks by income role, not by how loud the reveal animation is.

Keep, replace, or store

  1. Keep and assign if the tooltip rate or trait beats your worst worker.
  2. Store if it is a visual rare with a worse rate. Indexes and future fusion systems (if added) make storage cheaper than deletion.
  3. Replace only after the new animal is on the tree. Never unequip first.
  4. Do not trade a 1/67Qn-style pull to a stranger in a six-player server. There is no documented safe bazaar yet.

Best crew is the opinionated version of this list for progression, not for flex.

Using codes and updates for rares

If a code ever grants rolls or a named animal, redeem it with how to redeem, then run the same keep rule. A free fox is still a fox; a free common is still a common. Watch the updates hub when a patch mentions new traits or a new roll table. Launch content from 22 July 2026 already includes the roll button; later patches may add pity, banners, or limited animals. We will not invent a pity number that is not in the game.

A sane rare-hunt session

  1. Staff every tree (AFK farm checklist).
  2. Spend logs so you are not sitting at a cap.
  3. Roll a short burst.
  4. Compare, assign, stop.
  5. Buy a crew upgrade if carry or speed is the real problem.
  6. Leave. The island should chop while you are gone; the roll button should not.

If you cannot stop rolling, that is the gacha working as designed. Close the menu. The wood empire is the trees, not the silhouette.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for My Timber Pets on Roblox.

Are rolls really free and unlimited?

The official Roblox description says yes. Robux luck products may still exist in the shop; they are optional. Staff trees before you stand at the button.

What animal is the 1/67Qn fox?

Official art shows a red-and-white kitsune-style reveal. We will add the live in-game name to the animal index when it is confirmed in a client tooltip.

Should I delete commons?

Store them if the collection allows it. You need bodies to staff new floors even if they are not trophy rares.

Do scripts help you roll rares?

No listed dedicated My Timber Pets script existed on 1 Sep 2026. Auto-rolling also risks junking your crew. See scripts.
