My Timber Pets Tier List
S-tier is whatever raises logs per second on a staffed tree.
This hub ranks My Timber Pets the way an idle tycoon actually pays: logs per second on a staffed plot, then extra plots, then flex. It is not a PvP list. There is no arena. There is a chicken on a cube tree at 1/s and a late island billed at 45Q/s. Everything in between is a spend decision.
Open the two child pages for the full tables:
- Animal tier list — who to keep after a roll.
- Upgrades tier list — forest versus crew versus floors.
Use best crew when you want a suggested lineup instead of a letter grade. Use how to play if you still need the loop.
How we grade
S — Raises income immediately on a tree you already own, or is the obvious AFK multiplier. A — Strong, but needs a matching tree, slot, or floor. B — Fine filler for new pads. C — Cosmetic, extra, or a trap spend (empty floors, endless rolling). D — Actively hurts the loop (unequipping your only worker, buying space you cannot staff).
We do not grade from other Roblox lumber games. Timber! axes and Timber 2 island pets are different rosters. We also do not invent drop rates beyond what official art prints (1/67Qn, 1/6.7Qn). When a live tooltip name is confirmed, the animal index gets the name and this hub stays the ranking logic.
Snapshot rankings (1 Sep 2026)
Animals (progression, not flex)
| Rank | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Highest live /s animal you can assign | Tooltips beat thumbnails. |
| S | Any animal with a speed or income trait that you can actually read | The icon advertises TRAIT. |
| A | Dinosaur-style late-game silhouette | Official 45Q/s art pairs it with mushroom trees. |
| A | Kitsune-style fox if the tooltip is strong | 1/67Qn chase; still compare numbers. |
| B | Starter chicken | 1/s is real income. Never bench it until replaced on the tree. |
| B | Commons used to staff a new floor | Empty pads are D-tier. |
| C | Trophy models with worse rates | Store them; do not delete if the index exists. |
| D | Unequipped “rares” while trees sit idle | Rolling is not chopping. |
Upgrades
| Rank | Spend | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Next forest tree on a staffed plot | Multiplies every chop. |
| S | Carry when animals freeze on a full pile | Unsticks AFK. |
| A | Chop speed | Reliable /s. |
| A | Extra animal slot with an empty tree | Jobs need bodies. |
| B | New floor after the current story is full | Space is real, but later. |
| C | Robux luck before you understand rolls | Time is already unlimited. |
| D | Floor you cannot plant the same session | Screenshot tax. |

How to use a tier list in an idle game
Look at your bottleneck, then pick the row that solves it. If /s is tiny, you do not need a fox, you need a tree or speed. If animals are frozen, you need carry. If the island is full, you need a floor, then commons to staff it. The progress checklist is the same idea without letters.
Re-rank after patches. The updates hub is where we note a new trait, a new tree tier, or a new floor. A launch-week list from July 2026 will go stale the first time WingBrain adds a banner animal.
What this list will never do
- Promise a secret 100% roll trick.
- Copy a script’s auto-equip logic. No dedicated My Timber Pets script was listed on 1 Sep 2026; see scripts.
- Tell you to skip codes. When a code exists, redeem it, then spend using these ranks.
- Treat 1/67Qn as a beginner goal. That is a lottery thumbnail.
If two animals have the same letter, keep the one that is already assigned. Swapping for style resets pathing and can cost AFK minutes. Idle games punish fidgeting more than they punish a slightly worse model.
When you disagree with a rank, check the live counter, not the reveal animation. The counter is the only S-tier oracle in My Timber Pets.

Is the kitsune fox S-tier?
Only if its tooltip beats your current workers. Rarity is not income. Compare on the animal tier list.
Why are floors not S-tier?
