My Timber Pets Upgrades Tier List
Buy the upgrade that unsticks logs per second, not the one that looks like a palace.
This is the spend half of the tier list hub. My Timber Pets has three log sinks: forest, crew, and floors. Official copy lists all three as features. They are not equal at every moment. Ranking them as S–D stops the classic idle mistake: a three-story island with one chicken still at 1/s.
Read the matching how-tos when you pick a row: upgrade forest, upgrade crew, unlock floors.
S tier — buy when you see the symptom
Next tree on a staffed plot. Forest multiplies every chop, including AFK chops. The cube-to-mushroom jump in official art is this row. If the shop price is affordable, it beats almost everything.
Carry / capacity when animals freeze. If piles stop growing, the island has already earned the logs and cannot deliver them. Carry is the AFK unstick button. See how to farm AFK.
Re-assigning an animal that is sitting in the inventory. This is free. It outranks every paid upgrade. Empty trees are a D-tier state you can fix without a shop.
A tier — strong default spends
Chop speed. Reliable /s. Buy it when trees are planted and animals are moving but the counter is still tiny.
Extra animal slot when a tree is empty. Jobs need bodies. A slot with no tree is C.
Spending a code reward on a staffed tree or carry. Codes were unlisted on 1 Sep 2026; when they exist, this is how you avoid wasting them on vacant floors.
Putting your best animal on your best tree. Free. Do it after every roll using the animal tier list.
B tier — good after the story is full
New floor / extra story. Official art of three hexagonal decks is the goal. It is B because it is space, not income. Promote a floor to A only when every current pad is planted and staffed. Demote it to D if you buy it as a screenshot.
Island expand that only adds grass. Same as a floor. Space is space.
Extra commons kept in storage. They become A the moment a new deck needs staff. Until then they are inventory.
C tier — optional or easy to overbuy
Unlimited rolling as your main spend. Rolls cost time, not logs, but they steal sessions. Short bursts are fine; see rare animals. All-day rolling is C that becomes D if trees go unstaffed.
Robux luck or 2x passes on day one. The listing is free-to-play. Learn how to play first. A 2x speed pass can be A later if you already like the game.
Cosmetics, fence colors, name tags. Buy them with leftover logs after S and A are done. They do not move 45Q/s.
Scripts. No dedicated My Timber Pets script was listed on 1 Sep 2026. Pasting a Timber! auto-farm is not an upgrade; it is a ban risk. Scripts hub.
D tier — stop
A floor you will not plant this session. Unequipping the only chicken to admire a roll animation. Saving logs at a hard cap while a tree upgrade is in the shop. Spending overnight AFK earnings on empty space because the three-story thumbnail looks cool.
Decision table
| You notice | Buy |
|---|---|
/s is 0 | Assign an animal (free S) |
/s is tiny, animals moving | Forest tree or chop speed |
| Animals idle next to a pile | Carry |
| Pads empty on current story | Plant, then slot |
| Current story full | Floor, then commons |
| You want the fox | Short roll burst, then stop |
| You just redeemed a code | Staffed tree or carry |
Example spend sequences
Hour one: assign chicken → cheapest tree → cheapest speed → stop. That is Getting Started.
Hour five: mushroom tree on plot one → carry if frozen → second tree → then a floor if both plots are busy.
After a long AFK: spend the pile on whatever row is S for the symptom you see, not on the shop item with the biggest model. The progress checklist prints this table in checkbox form.
Re-ranking after patches
If a patch adds a new tree tier, that tier becomes S until you catch up. If a patch adds floor four, it stays B until floor three is staffed. If a patch adds fusion, duplicate commons may rise from C to A. Track those shifts on updates rather than assuming launch-week prices from 22 July 2026 still hold.
Upgrades are not a personality test. The right buy is the one that makes the next AFK block print more logs. If a purchase did not move the counter, it was not S, no matter how tall the island looks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for My Timber Pets on Roblox.
Should I always max forest before floors?
Max the current story, not the entire forest tree forever. When pads are full, a floor becomes the next B-to-A buy. See unlock floors.
Is chop speed better than a new animal?
Speed is guaranteed. A new animal is a roll. Mix them. Upgrade crew explains the mix.
Where do codes fit in this list?
Treat coded logs as a pile you spend on the current S-tier symptom. Check the codes hub for live strings.
Why is rolling not S-tier?
Because it is unlimited and random. It is a tool, not a sink that always raises income. See the animal tier list.
